NSIC Schemes 2026: Single Point Registration & Raw Material Assistance for MSMEs
National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC)
NSIC supports eligible MSMEs through Government Purchase registration under the Single Point Registration Scheme (SPRS) and raw material procurement assistance. Eligible MSEs can access tender-related benefits, while manufacturing and service MSMEs can obtain raw material credit support against an approved Bank Guarantee.
Who Can Apply?
Verified criteria and borrower eligibility guidelines set by the Government of India.
Micro & Small Enterprises
Micro and Small Enterprises with valid Udyam Registration engaged in manufacturing or services can apply for NSIC Single Point Registration Scheme. Traders are not eligible under SPRS.
Government Suppliers
MSEs with products or services suitable for Government procurement can register under SPRS to access applicable tender and public procurement benefits.
Commercially Operational Units
MSEs that have commenced commercial production or service delivery can apply. Units with less than one year of existence may be issued provisional SPRS registration subject to applicable limits.
Raw Material Assistance
Manufacturing and service MSMEs holding valid Udyam Registration can apply for NSIC Raw Material Assistance for indigenous or imported raw material procurement.
Bank Guarantee Requirement
Credit-based Raw Material Assistance is provided against an acceptable Bank Guarantee from an approved bank and is subject to NSIC appraisal.
Trading Restriction under RMA
Pure trading activities are not eligible for Raw Material Assistance. The facility is intended for eligible manufacturing and service MSMEs.

Tender Fee & EMD Benefits
MSEs holding valid NSIC SPRS registration are eligible for free tender sets and exemption from Earnest Money Deposit under applicable Government procurement provisions.
L1 + 15% Purchase Preference
Where the L1 bidder is not an MSE, participating MSEs quoting within the L1 + 15% price band may be allowed to supply a portion of up to 25% of the requirement by matching the L1 price, subject to tender and procurement policy conditions.
358 Reserved Items
A list of 358 items is reserved for exclusive procurement from eligible Micro and Small Enterprises under the applicable Government procurement framework.
25% MSE Procurement Goal
Central Ministries, Departments and CPSEs have an annual procurement goal of at least 25% from Micro and Small Enterprises, including sub-targets for SC/ST-owned and women-owned MSEs.
Raw Material Credit up to 180 Days
NSIC Raw Material Assistance facilitates procurement of indigenous and imported raw materials with credit support normally available for up to 180 days.
RMA Exposure up to ₹10 Crore
Maximum exposure to a single unit under RMA is up to ₹10 Crore for manufacturing units and ₹6 Crore for service units. Separate exposure limits apply to infrastructure units and group companies.

Application Process
Choose NSIC Support
Identify whether the enterprise requires SPRS registration for Government procurement benefits, Raw Material Assistance, or both.
Submit Application
SPRS applications are submitted through the prescribed NSIC online system. Raw Material Assistance applications are submitted in the prescribed format to the appropriate NSIC field or branch office.
Verification & Appraisal
For SPRS, applicable unit and store-item inspection is carried out through the prescribed process. For RMA, NSIC conducts preliminary appraisal and unit inspection before deciding the eligible limit.
Registration / Limit Sanction
Eligible SPRS applicants receive the registration certificate and approved monetary limit. Eligible RMA applicants receive a sanctioned assistance limit subject to Bank Guarantee and agreement requirements.
Use Scheme Benefits
SPRS-registered MSEs can use applicable procurement benefits, while RMA beneficiaries can request NSIC to release payment directly to approved raw material suppliers against sanctioned assistance.
